1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies OverSushi Inc. (“OverSushi,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) uses on oversushi.com, what each one does, and how you can control them. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage (data a website keeps in your browser) and scripts or pixels that collect information about your visit. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.

First-party cookies are set by oversushi.com. Third-party cookies are set by another company’s service that runs on our website.

3. How we use cookies

We group our cookies into four categories. Strictly necessary cookies are always on. Analytics, visitor identification and chat are on by default, and you can switch them off at any time (section 4).

3.1 Strictly necessary

These keep our website and forms working and secure, and remember your privacy choices. They cannot be switched off.

• Cloudflare Turnstile: spam and bot protection on our contact, assessment and event forms. It runs from Cloudflare (challenges.cloudflare.com) and uses browser and device signals to tell people from automated traffic.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics: counts visits and measures page performance. It sets no cookies and does not collect personal information.
• Your privacy choice (first-party cookie cookieyes-consent, provided by CookieYes): remembers whether you opted out, and lasts 1 year. CookieYes, which runs our cookie banner, also keeps a record of the choice you make. If you saved a choice on our website before October 15, 2026, it is kept in local storage under os-privacy and still honoured.
• Job application form: our careers application form is provided by Jotform, which may use its own cookies to run and protect the form while you fill it in.

3.2 Analytics

These help us understand how the website is used so we can improve it.

• Google Analytics (first-party cookies _ga and _ga_KXJ304TWER, provided by Google): records which pages are viewed, for how long, and how visitors arrived. The cookies last up to 2 years. When you switch analytics off, we stop Google Analytics and delete these cookies.
• Microsoft Clarity (first-party cookies _clck and _clsk, provided by Microsoft): records how visitors scroll, click and move through our pages, as session replays and heatmaps, so we can see where the website is hard to use. Anything you type into a form is hidden from these recordings. _clck recognizes a returning visitor and _clsk links the pages of one visit. We do not allow Clarity to set Microsoft’s advertising cookies. When you switch analytics off, Clarity is not loaded and its cookies are deleted.

3.3 Visitor identification

• RB2B (provided by Retention.com): recognizes the companies and professionals who visit our website so we can follow up. When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email or online profiles. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these emails or profiles. You may opt out of receiving this advertising by clicking here.

RB2B identifies individual people only in the United States. For visits from elsewhere, including Canada, it identifies only the company the visit comes from.

• Apollo (provided by Apollo.io): recognizes the companies and professionals who visit our website and adds them to our sales prospecting tools. It keeps an anonymous visitor identifier (apolloAnonId) and a short-lived queue of page visits in local storage, and may load LiveIntent, which can set its own cookies to match your visit to a hashed version of your email address. Like RB2B, it identifies individual people only in the United States. When you opt out, we delete what Apollo stored in your browser.

3.4 Chat

• Intercom (provided by Intercom): runs the chat on our website, answered first by Fin, Intercom’s AI agent. It sets the first-party cookies intercom-id-cnvhonti (an anonymous visitor identifier), intercom-session-cnvhonti (your chat session, 1 week) and intercom-device-id-cnvhonti (a device identifier used to prevent abuse, 270 days). When you opt out, we close the chat and delete these cookies.

4. How to control cookies

• Opt Out of Tracking. Use the “Opt Out of Tracking” link in our cookie banner, the privacy button in the bottom-left corner of any page, or “Your Privacy Choices” in the footer, then check “Opt Out of Tracking” and save. Analytics, visitor identification and chat switch off together. Your choice takes effect immediately, applies across our website, and is saved in that browser.
• Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out and keep analytics, visitor identification and chat off.
• RB2B opt-out. You can opt out of RB2B’s identification and advertising database at app.retention.com/optout.
• Google Analytics opt-out. Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics on every website.
• Your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of our website, such as our forms, from working. Help for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.

Your choice is stored in a cookie in your browser, so it applies only to the browser and device you made it on, and is lost if you clear your browser data.

5. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when we add, remove or change the cookies we use. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
